THE CROP SERIAL
By David Quickenden
Like an ever running popular ‘serial’, the crop circle phenomena continues to supply us with its enthralling episodes. They become more exotic with every passing summer, and evidence suggests that each passing year will find displays of even more complex design, as new (and old) characters appear to play their part in attracting high summer ratings.
Before being swamped by scientific reasoning, as experts attempt to unveil the true identities of the ‘serials’ script writers, one needs to take a slow, deep breath and simply use ones eyes and inner senses. For the thousands who find themselves drawn every summer to the quiet fields of England’s counties, it is a pilgrimage of self-awareness. Clearly there are those who remain unaware of what is happening, and there are those who feel spiritually refreshed and uplifted by what they see. Indeed, there are some that feel reluctant to leave what for them symbolises the true ‘Mother Earth’ energy, to which they feel instinctively related. This changing gauge of collective consciousness is a reflection of our own spiritual awareness. We are all of us, on the same path of experience. The hauntingly familiar crop symbols affect us accordingly, but for all of us, they remain a continuing welcome attraction, which we feel compelled to visit.
Revelations such as the discovery that the 1996 Stonehenge ‘Julia Set’ formation spilled out measurable energy over 300 ft beyond its boundaries only go to support what our subconscious is already telling us: remaining in tune with the correct frequency will ensure further revealing episodes.
Rather than be so concerned at the scriptwriters continuing anonymity, perhaps we should be concentrating on the benefits derived from just watching the ‘programme’. ¨
