Aliens or Genetic Creations?

 Astounding as it may sound, there can be no doubt that scientists have been actively involved in genetic manipulation of all manner of life on this planet. Are we so naive to think that cloning would simply stop after scientists presented 'Dolly' the incredible cloned sheep?I think the truth of the matter is that Dolly is just an 'offering' to the public to avoid awkward questions regarding achievements in that particular area of genetic reproduction. Now we see that Dolly has given birth to a healthy offspring. One has to ask 'why a sheep?'

The answer is possibly that a ewe's reproductive system is very similar to that of a Homo Sapien female, making it an ideal subject for such experimentation.

For example, would the powers that be simply let a great mind of beneficial significance, to just die and be lost? I don't think so. Call it cloning if you like........I prefer to call it Genetic Reincarnation- the ideal way to preserve a mind, memory....even possibly, the soul?

On the other side of the scale, there are those who believe that we, the Human race, have been 'altered' by the intervention of some higher source. For Christians this is God. For others, including some anthropologists, these are peoples from other planets or dimensions. In this case, the term 'higher source' may often refer to extraterrestrials or a technologically advanced civilization from elsewhere, who decided to meddle with our existing genes. If this is the case, then are we existing here, merely as an experiment, as lab rats?

Many so-called 'Abductees', or 'experiencers', recall events that have either taken place whilst they have been sleeping, or even driving. They all have a similar ring to them: they are lying on a table being examined by some un-Earthly looking entities. Probes are placed into various orifices, and the whole episode is terrifying......but the 'victims' are helpless. The beings performing these seemingly medical tasks are all of a diminutive stature, and take their orders from a taller, possibly humanoid figure, which stands away from this disturbing scene. The next thing the abductee realizes, is that they are back where they were taken from.

Some 'experts' on alleged alien abductions, state that the phenomenon MUST be real as many of the accounts are so very similar, and continue to be. Well, let's just slow down a bit here. Could the reason for the similarity be the fact that some of these 'Abductees' are aware of the trend surrounding this whole subject? Could it be that they have been influenced by what is now a typical abduction experience? Could the reason they heard about it be simply because the world is a far smaller place than it used to be?

Now, I am not in the business of telling someone that what they experienced is or is not what happened. To them, it is totally real and it definitely happened, and I have NO right whatsoever to tell them otherwise. That would be conceited and unethical. The fact still remains however, that like the UFO subject in general, there is no hard, solid, unequivocal evidence to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that abductions and subsequent medical examinations by extraterrestrials actually take place. Any alleged 'implants' have always turned out to be mundane objects such as slivers of glass, fatty deposits or calcified bone etc.

Another factor of this phenomenon, is that the way that some of the information is gleaned from the witness, an how, in the eyes of skeptics and debunkers, it actually manages to put the whole testimony in jeopardy. I am talking, of course, about hypnotherapy. There is no doubt that hypnotherapy works in the area for which it was intended. Many people have overcome their fears and phobias, even stopped smoking and drinking thanks to hypnotic suggestion. That is exactly what it is.......suggestion. Convincing someone to stop smoking using this technique has a high success rate, simply because the patient desperately WANTS to stop in the first place. The seed is already there. So, what happens when someone who claims to have been abducted is subjected to hypnotherapy? The answer is the same. The seed is already there, and is simply nurtured (many times unknowingly), by the therapist. The abductee probably won't admit it, but deep down a majority WANT the experience to be real, and therefore becomes real through hypnotism.

I do not want to give the impression that I am an out-and-out skeptic on this subject, but one has to rely on evidence. at least with UFO sightings, there is sometimes other witnesses or video footage. Unfortunately, as yet, there is no such evidence for alien abductions. Until there is, I have to defer judgement.

Whatever happened to Travis Walton, Betty and Barney Hill, and Whitley Streiber, to name but a few, remains a mystery. Their stories are intriguing, especially Travis'. In his case, Travis was missing for some five days after he and forest co-workers witnessed a huge UFO in the Rocky Mountain Woods on the 5th November, 1975. Travis walked up to the UFO despite the others shouting at him not to. As he stood there, looking up at the object, a beam of light shot out, sending Travis flying into the air. When they went to look for Travis, he was nowhere to be found. A huge search was mounted, but there was no sighn of him. His colleagues were almost arrested in connection with his disappearance, even after taking a polygraph (lie detector) test, which they all passed. When Travis turned up five days later in another town some miles away, people had difficulty in believing his story.

Many believe the whole thing to be a hoax. It is known that Walton was interested in the UFO phenomenon before the event, and that he and other members of his family were known practical jokers. Allegedly, his mother seemed quite unconcerned that her son was missing at the time.

There again, maybe it IS true. All we can do is to take on board what these people are telling us, and give them the benefit of the doubt.
